Diving North Seymour, Galapagos*

What?  Two blogs in one week?  During the great pandemic lock-down when absolutely nothing is going on?  What is she thinking?  Well, I will tell you.  Neither Sunday’s post nor today’s post had much to say.  So, we decided to do two in one week.  Anyway, here goes.

While we were visiting Santa Cruz, Robert dove off of North Seymour.  He really enjoyed it and thinks it would be good for beginners.  Once again, we’ve already established that he is a much better diver than he is a writer, so we will leave you with just a few photos of his dives at North Seymour.

Robert booked his tour through Scuba Iguana.  It cost $175.  He liked the company, but he wasn’t thrilled with his dive guide because the guide was flirting with one of the divers instead of making sure all the divers were safe.

* In light of the Covid-19 situation, we are no longer traveling.  This post reflects pre-pandemic travel.  We are sheltering in place and hope you are doing the same.  Stay safe.

About theschneiduks

Lisa has a degree in biology and another in law and has spent the last 20 years working as a patent litigator. She is a voracious reader of young adult dystopian fiction and watches far too much bad tv. She loves pretty much anything to do with zombies, and doesn’t think there is anything weird about setting an alarm at 6 am on a weekend to stumble to a pub to watch her beloved Chelsea boys. Robert has had many professions, including a chef, a salesman, an IT guy and most recently, a stay at home dog dad. He speaks Italian and hopes to learn Spanish on this trip. He loves nothing more than a day spent sailing, hopes to do more scuba diving, and rues the day he introduced Lisa to football (i.e., soccer).

Glad you are safe! You seem to be taking the approach of my appellate opponents – when you don’t have anything to say, just keep writing! Jk, very cool photos. Just for completeness Robert should have sent a picture of the person the Guide was flirting with. The piece seemed incomplete without that!

    • Hey! I resent that characterization! 🙂 Next time I will be sure Robert takes a photo of whoever the dive master flirts with. Hope you and your family are safe as well.
